I have gambled on countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this tactic or beat the casino, nonetheless you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a few years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this tactic! And a number of months ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 1 hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
