I have bet on millions of rounds of blackjack. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this tactic or beat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this method! And a number of months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager
Bet $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of $80
Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
