Blackjack is a game that brings to mind an image of a roller coaster. Blackjack is a game that starts off slowly, but gradually picks up the pace. As you build up your bankroll, you feel like you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom drops out.
Blackjack is so akin to a rollercoaster the similarities are hair-raising. As with the popular fair experience, your blackjack game will peak and things will appear as though they are going well for awhile before it bottoms out again. Undoubtedly you have to be a player who is able to adjust well to the ups … downs of the game given that the game of black jack is full of them.
If you like the small coaster, a coaster that can’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a much bigger wager, then hop on for the mad ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big spender will love the view from the monster crazy ride because he/she is not considering the drop as they rush quickly to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s terrific, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to twist and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you do not, you might not naturally recount how much you enjoyed life while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a wicked ride … your head in the stratosphere. As you are reminiscing on "what ifs", you won’t clearly remember how "high up" you went but you will remember that disastrous fall as clear as day.
