I have played millions of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent a lot of bankroll at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this tactic or beat the house, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a number of months ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Bet five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
