I have wagered on millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to beat the game.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or beat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Paris a number of years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this method! And a number of days ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can squander much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness gamble this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $5 wager
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original $10 wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original $80 bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
