I have bet on countless of hands of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have enjoyed online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of funds at 21. The casinos have made it almost impossible to beat the game.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 wager
Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
