I have wagered on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at 21. The casinos have made it basically impossible to beat the house.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is founded on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this technique! And a couple of weeks ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar bet
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Bet $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Bet $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
