I have wagered on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the idea that blackjack appears to be a match of runs. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years back with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Bet five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $10
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original $80 bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you left at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
