black jack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a crazy ride. It is a game that starts slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you ramp up your bank roll, you feel as though you are getting to the top of the coaster and then when you are not expecting it, the bottom drops.
Blackjack is so remarkably like a crazy ride the similarities are unreal. As is the case with the popular amusement park ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will be going great for a while before it bottoms out one more time. Of course you have to be a bettor that’s able to adjust well to the ups and downs of the game because the game of blackjack is choked full of them.
If you like the small coaster, a coaster that cannot go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the rollercoaster ride is with a bigger bet, then hop on board for the coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The big spender will love the view from the monster wild ride because he/she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few bettors adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s awesome, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to toss and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you may not naturally remember how much you enjoyed everything while your bank roll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, an awesome ride … your head in the clouds. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t easily recount how "high up" you went but you will remember that disappointing drop as clear as day.
